My wife and I own a small thoroughbred ranch for running horses just south of Montgomery, AL. We stand two stallions, ROYAL EMPIRE by Forty Niner and POWER OF MIND by Mr. Prospector. ROYAL EMPIRE has been the leading sire in Alabama for 6 years in a row. We are standing POWER OF MIND for the first time in 2008. We have also accumulated a well bred band of broodmares and have had success at the track with their progeny. COMALAGOLD, a daughter of ROYAL EMPIRE, is among the top earners with over $300,000, a multiple stakes winner and stakes placed. We run most of our horses in Louisiana, but it is our dream to some day soon have live horse racing return to Alabama.
